Two miners from Polmaise Colliery reflect on strike of 1984
Two former members of the Polmaise Colliery in Stirlingshire speak to Jamie Livingstone of stv news. John McCormack, the pit's former union leader, and Donald Cameron, the former manager, reflect on the days Scotland's miners went on strike. Polmaise was the first mine in Scotland to witness a walkout of its workers, on March 12, 1984. The strike would soon take hold across all 12 pits in Scotland.
